Wind Advisory
Statement as of 6:16 PM PST on November 22, 2009

... Wind Advisory in effect until 10 am PST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
Wind Advisory for the Santa Monica Mountains... and the Santa
Clarita and San Fernando valleys. This advisory is in effect until
10 am PST Monday.

Areas of north winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph will
develop this evening... then shift to the northeast Monday morning.
The strongest winds are expected in the vicinity of passes and
canyons. This advisory may need to be extended into Tuesday and
possibly midweek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph or greater are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
