Statement as of 2:50 PM MST on November 22, 2009

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight tonight to
midnight MST Monday night...

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a
Winter Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from midnight
tonight to midnight MST Monday night.

A trough of low pressure will move across the forecast area
overnight through Monday evening producing 4 to 7 inches of new snow
over the northern and central mountains of western Colorado with
up to 8 inches at higher elevations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and/or
blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
