A stationary front will persist across the central Florida Peninsula through Tuesday. A weak area of low pressure will develop on the front Tuesday over the central Gulf of Mexico and move east toward the southern Florida Peninsula. Scattered showers and possible thunderstorms will spread across the central and southern waters Tuesday night and Wednesday.
