... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am CST this morning...
The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CST this morning.
Dense fog will expand across much of Oklahoma and North Texas during the early morning hours. Visibilities are expected to begin to improve within an hour or two after sunrise.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your low-beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Be particularly cautious when driving into river and creek valleys... where visibilities often drop suddenly.
