A dense fog advisory is in effect east of a Graham...Eastland... Goldthwaite line through mid morning Monday. Areas of fog will continue forming through 3 am...some locally dense across rural areas and low-lying areas. Fog will continue to become more widespread and dense just before daybreak Monday morning. Persons commuting early Monday morning will need to allow extra time to reach their destination...use low beams...and allow extra room between vehicles for safe travel.

Light winds and clear skies have resulted in areas of fog developing across North Texas. Visibilities will continue to drop through the early morning hours... with areas of dense fog becoming likely toward early morning. Visibilities will be reduced to less than one quarter mile at times and will be most likely to occur in low lying areas and rural areas. Visibilities are expected to improve during the mid morning hours.

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your low-beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you.
