The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect until 4 am MST Monday.
This advisory is for the northern Wasatch front and Cache Valley of far northern Utah. By late tonight... 1 to 4 inches of snowfall can be expected.
Light snow will develop either late this afternoon or early this evening. Accumulating snow will behind a strong cold front crossing the northern Wasatch front and Cache Valley late this afternoon. A brief period of heavy behind the front will be followed by steady snow through the remainder of the evening. Snow will taper off after midnight... with accumulating snows ending late tonight.
